Enhance The Capacity and Effectiveness of SAS Committees & NAT across Medical Colleges - Area #2

As part of efforts to strengthen the capacity of NAT and SAR teams in medical colleges, an online interactive session was conducted on Area #2: Educational Program using a flipped-classroom approach, in which materials were shared before the session and the live meeting was dedicated to discussion and application.

dedicated to discussion and application.The session was delivered in two complementary parts. Prof. Dr. Yusra AR Mahmood covered
sub-areas 2.1–2.4, enabling participants to define, analyze, and apply evidence generation related to the framework of the program, scientific method, Basic Biomedical Sciences, and Behavioural and Social Sciences, Medical Ethics, and Jurisprudence. The second part presented by Prof. Dr.
Husam M. AL Zuwayny addressed sub-standards 2.5–2.8 through interactive discussion and case-based MCQs, with emphasis on applying the Present → Applied → Effective lens to judge evidence related to clinical sciences and skills, programme structure, programme management,
and linkage with medical practice and the health sector.
